Shakira's Biography - 'Purple Enchantment'

Shakira offers fun and interesting classes that are open to all, and incorporates Keti Sharif's A-Z system into them. She currently teaches 2 mixed level classes a week and tailors them to meet the needs of all her students. With a strong yoga background, she really emphasizes good posture and aims to provide students with a firm foundation for them to build on.

She is continuously seeking out new inspiration and has trained & completed workshops with a variety of teachers, including Keti Sharif, Shafeek Ibrahim, Yasmina of Cairo, Randa Kamel, Noury Sharif, Amar Gamal, Aziza, and Ava Fleming to name but a few.

Shakira is a qualified yoga teacher and has classes twice a week. She is also a kickboxing instructor and has a 2nd Dan black belt. Shakira has an NVQ Level 2 in Coaching studies and a City & Guilds 7407 Certificate in Further Education Teaching Stage 1.

Shakira is a caring, patient teacher with an eye for detail and problem solving. She wants to be an inspiration and a positive influence to her students. So they can maintain their health and well-being, reach their full potential, and increase their personal satisfaction.

Her aim is for all her students to become their own teachers and eventually their own masters.
