Biography Kerry's goal is to inspire, educate and enrich others as she has been enriched by Middle Eastern Dance. Kerry has been bellydancing since 2000, and she brings many years of interest in dance, art, literature and world music to her teaching.

Kerry completed Keti Sharif's original A-Z Teacher Training Course in 2002 and began teaching bellydance in mid-2002. She joined Oasis Dance Studio in September 2002 and has been part of the team ever since. Her special interests are Egyptian baladi (including milaya) and Khaleegy. She has sought out interstate and overseas teachers both in Perth, Sydney and in Egypt to enrich her knowledge of oriental dance. Her interviews with many of these teachers can be read in the quarterly Bellydance Oasis magazine
www.bellydanceoasis.com

In 2002, Kerry was invited by Ayesha of Sheik to Sheik to found a khaleegy dance troupe, and she has choreographed dances for the Adani Dancers Khaleegy troupe, including their performances at Bellies for Breasts Concert, The Octagon Theatre, Perth Moonlight Magic Concert, The Quarry Amphitheatre, Perth Harmony Day and Burswood Theatre. In September 2004, Kerry toured Egypt with a group of bellydance friends from Western Australia on one of Keti Sharif's Middle Eastern Dance tours.

In 2005, to expand her teaching repertoire, Kerry completed Keti Sharif's Advanced A-Z Routines course and is certified to teach these routines. She also completed a module of Safe Dance Practice for Dance Teachers (MED) with Queensland University of Technology.
