A-Z Teacher Training Certification Courses

International Teacher Training is organised by Keti and held only once every two years. In 2009 it was in Egypt. This year, 2011, it is in Australia. In 2013 it will be in the USA. Keti gathers several top A-Z teachers to deliver an intensive course full of teaching skills, application of routines, choreographies, genres, use of props and lesson planning to help you be the bext teacher you can be using the A-Z resource.
Teaching Benefits
A-Z Teachers get a full bio listing on the A-Z Teachers webpage, with photo, bio and class info. Once certified as an A-Z Teacher, you are entitled to teach OPT and/or APT certification courses to students through the system, acknowledged internationally as a complete and well structured dance certification program.
A-Z Course Teachers
A-Z Master Teachers delivering modules at the Perth A-Z Teacher Training courses are:
Keti Sharif: Choreographer and creator of A-Z, this is the last time Keti will personally teach at the events.
Suzanne Oehlers: Latin Ballroom Champion and Assessor, with annual trips to Egypt for training
Iphigenie Amoutzias (Dallia): From New Zealand's largest dance school, and trained in the Estoda method.

Pre-requisites for A-Z Teacher Training are certification in the Personal Techniques courses, to make sure students are able to present each routine to standard before entering the Teaching syllabus. An OPT or APT course pack is first required to register, and then Suzanne is teaching two intensive Personal Technique SLAM courses in Perth prior to the Teacher Training:
26/27 Nov A-Z Original PT SLAM (10 hours)
28/29 Nov A-Z Advanced PT SLAM (10 hours)
*OPT is required for Pulse8 Elements Instructor Training
Assessments are offered after the course and dancers who successfully meet criteria will be able to join the Teacher Training course.
30 Nov, 1,2 Dec A-Z Original Teacher Training
5,6,7 Dec A-Z Advanced Teacher Training
If teachers have been successful in both Original and Advanced Teacher Training, they can join the Assessor course and become an international assessor, and get paid to asses OPT and APT exams.

Personal Technique SLAM courses are held at 144 Rigalo Place, Wangara, Studio 44.
A-Z Teacher Training takes place in the Yual Club. 228 Oxford St Leederville, Perth, Western Australia

A-Z Original PT SLAM 26/27 Nov (10 hours) $150
A-Z Advanced PT SLAM28/29 Nov (10 hours) $150
(Course packs are $270 each available online or at the event. You may chose to do do one or both courses.)
Assessments are offered after the course @ $20 per segment after FREE A-E set. Total $80 per course.

Advanced Teacher Training
